AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Robert Alexander (Bobby) Bush of Sumac Drive entered into rest Friday, April 18, 2008 at the V.A. Medical Center, D.D. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Bernard Bush officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 1 p.m. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Robert Alexander "Bobby" Bush, of Sumac Drive, entered into rest Friday, April 18, 2008 at the V.A. Medical Center, D.D. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. at the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church with Bishop Bernard Bush officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mr. Bush, a native of Richmond Co., was a member of the Word Life Outreach Ministry, a 1965 graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School, an U.S. Army Veteran. He retired as one of the lead singers with PlayBack "The Band." Survivors are his wife, Betty K. Bush, Augusta; three children, Antonio (Judy) Bush, Sr., Rodriquez C. (Heidi) Bush, Tamilyn Bush Walker, Augusta; one brother, Keith Alexander; 14 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; three brothers-in-law, Willie (Frances) Kennedy, Levi (Ernestine) Kennedy, James (Annie) Kennedy; two sisters-in-law, Delores Rainey, Lois (Arthur) Butler, all of Augusta; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
