Mr. Sharpe, loving husband and father, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2007. Born in Millen, Ga., he was the son of the late Morgan Thomas and Idabell Burke Sharpe. Lindsey was a graduate and passionate UGA fan. He has been an area resident since 1967, formerly of Millen, Ga. Lindsey was a member of First Baptist of Lexington. After his retirement from Harsco Corporation, he was a manager for Deepwood Estates in Lexington. Surviving in addition to his wife, Imogene Sharpe of Lexington: daughter and son-in-law, Deneen and Mike Craft of West Columbia; two step-daughters and their husbands, Candy and Steve Holland of Dallas, Texas, April and Nathan Crocker of West Columbia; four grandchildren and one great- grandchild; brothers and sisters- in-law, Morgan Thomas and Joanne Sharpe, Jr. of Millen, Ga., Julian and Barbara Sharpe of Milledgeville, Ga. Lindsey was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Sharpe; sister, Doris Sharpe; and first wife, Margaret Saxon Sharpe.
