City hall delivers records to Justice Department

SALT LAKE CITY -- City officials have turned over to the Justice Department two boxes of records dealing with negotiations between Salt Lake and the United States Olympic Committee. The records were discovered after Justice investigators asked for any documents pertaining to payments the city made to the bid committee or to the Salt Lake Organizing Committee, according to a news release from Mayor Deedee Corradini.
