Lucille is coming back to Augusta. B.B. King and his soul mate guitar headline a blues package tour booked for Sept. 17 at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center. Tickets go on sale today. The legendary bluesman and his ax Lucille played Augusta in 1972, 1982, 1991 and 1995, when the house at the Bell Auditorium was only three-quarters full.

King Lego wants long reign

Broadway actor Lego Louis recently indulged a caller with a game of word association. The King and I. "Yul Brynner," he responded immediately in a phone interview from Flint, Mich. That's the obstacle Mr. Louis is up against playing the King of Siam -- a role virtually synonymous with Yul Brynner -- in the national touring production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I, which comes to the Bell Auditorium at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
