He matched his career high with 24 points against South Carolina on Nov. 20 and was named MVP of the EA Sports Maui Invitational. Freshman forward Josh Powell of North Carolina State, who sparked the Wolfpack to wins over JMU and The Citadel, was named the rookie of the week.
