She was a Baptist, a former Circulation Supervisor with the Aiken Standard and retired from the Aiken County Board of Education. Survivors include her husband J.R. He retired from the Southern Railroad in 1981and he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Bryant was a faithful servant of Jesus Christ and honored Jehovah God most of his adult life. He was a dedicated member of the Belvedere Church of God and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 46 years, Margaret Ann Gillis Bryant.
