A Grovetown man was killed in a suicide bombing in Afghanistan on Thursday, according to the company he was employed with as a civilian contractor.Michael Robert Bradford, 26, was one of four DynCorp International personnel killed in Kabul, a company statement said. Media reports said the bombing killed six Americans ? including two U.S. service members ? and at least nine Afghan civilians, including two children.The company said Bradford joined DynCorp in November and was an Army veteran who had served in Iraq and other areas.

Two suspects arrested in connection to two recent downtown assaults have waived extradition and are awaiting return to Augusta after being arrested Friday night in Newberry, S.C.

The early leaderboard has a decidely international flavor as the top six on the board are non-American. Australian Marc Leishman has just taken the lead at 5-under.
