LINCOLNTON, Ga. - Mrs. Jessie Mae Maddox Parks, 69, of First Baptist Street, died Friday, Jan. 5, 2001, at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at New Tabernacle Baptist Church with the Rev. Matthew Harden officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Parks, a native of Lincoln County, was a homemaker and a member of New Tabernacle Baptist Church. The family said, "She was a good neighbor, a soft-spoken, kind, affectionate person who always greeted you with a smile."
