AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Mary M. ('Momma Ware') Ware, of 13th Ave., entered into rest Saturday, January 24, 2009 at her residence. Funeral ser- vice will be held Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 2 p.m., at Meadowbrook Drive Church of Christ with Bro. Solomon Ware, III, officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens. She was a native of Edgefield County, S.C., a retiree of Richmond County Board of Education, a member of Meadowbrook Drive Church of Christ where she was a devoted Bible Class Teacher and sang with Inspirations of Augusta. Survivors are one daughter, Mary W. (Gerald) Ford, Augusta; three sons, Solomon (Mary) Ware, III, North Augusta, Herbert (Diane) Ware, Henderson H. (Linda) Ware, Augusta; one sister, Amanda Evins, Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, David (Mary) Garrett, Washington, D.C., Herbert (Charlene) Garrett, Edgefield, S.C., Luther (Georgia) Garrett, McCormick, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Mamie Garrett, Boggs Academy, S.C.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Carrie Mason Davis of Basswood Drive entered into rest Monday, May 16, 2005 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at D'Antignac Street Church of Christ with Roland Cumbee, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. She was a native of Richmond County, Ga, a member of D'Antignac Street Church of Christ, a member of the Inspirations of Augusta and employed at Beverly Manor for 39 years.
