Patient advisory board does much more harm than good for Medicare

Members of Red Hat SophistiCATS have nothing but fun on their minds

Three years ago, Emily Hyatt wanted to do something fun, so she organized the south Augusta chapter of the Red Hat Society, called the Red Hat SophistiCATS. The Red Hat Society is an international organization for women 50 and older who meet and attend events while wearing red hats and purple attire.

Soccer Spring Shootout begins today The 17th annual Augusta Arsenal Spring Shootout tournament promises to showcase some of the best in youth soccer, with a few added touches. The tournament, for athletes ages 10-19, is expected to draw 110 teams from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee. It will start at 8 a.m. today and will run through Sunday at Fort Gordon's Barton Field.
