AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Geneva Elizabeth Jones Hatcher, 91, wife of the late George Hatcher entered into rest Saturday, March 17, 2007 in Fairburn, Ga. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from Dallas Heights Baptist Church with Reverend Charlie Peters, Reverend David Jones and Reverend Maynard Weaver officiating. Entombment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mrs. Hatcher was a native of Union Point, Georgia and the daughter of the late Emory Gordon and Lonnie Caldwell Jones. Mrs. Hatcher was a member of Dallas Heights Baptist Church and for the past five years has attended the Filathia Sunday school Class and The First Baptist Church of Senoia, Georgia. Survivors include her two daughters, Vera Janice Bell of North Augusta, South Carolina and Sue Doolittle of Senoia, Georgia; one adopted daughter, Joan Adkinson of Hephzibah; one sister, Evelyn Bryant of Newnan, Georgia; six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and ten great-great- grandchildren. Active Pallbearers will be David Harrington, Ted Russell, Smokey Adkinson and Jack Lee. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dallas Heights Baptist Church 2404 Boykin Road, Hephzibah, Georgia 30815.
