WASHINGTON, Ga.- Mr. Roy Wallace Wheatley, 56, of Metasville Rd., died Saturday, August 12, 2006. Wallace was a native of Wilkes County and lived in the Metasville area all of his life. He was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church, a self-employed farmer and a member of the Wilkes County Cattlemen's Association. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 15, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Herman Bradley and Rev. Dale Fincher officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. MILLEN, Ga. - Mr. Roy Hendley, 82, died Sunday July 23, 2006. He was a long time resident of Jenkins County, a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired from Jockey International and a farmer, and a member of the Paynes Chapel United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Paynes Chapel United Methodist Church with Revs. Perry Hearn and David Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the Paynes Chapel Cemetery with the Revs. Ray Freeman and Brad Boynton officiating.
