Mrs. Emma Brooks (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Emma L. Brooks, of Augusta, entered into rest Sunday, January 12, 2003 at the Westwood Nursing Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 16, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church with Rev. Clarence Moore officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Memorial Garden. Mrs. Brooks was a native of Richmond County and she was a member of the Good Shepherd Baptist Church where she served on the Usher and Deaconess Board. She was a retired seamstress at Manardi Southern.

Brooks, Augusta, Levorn (Evon) Brooks, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Lee Ellen Douse, Willie Mae Douse, Augusta; one aunt, Mary Stallings, Augusta; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a host of nephews; nieces, other relatives.
