Barnett, 64, of First Street, Jackson, SC, who entered into rest January 26, 2009, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First Baptist Church of Jackson. Dr. Ken Klingler officiating. Interment in Southlawn Cemetery. Mr. Barnett was a native of Oklahoma, having made Jackson his home for the past 60 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson where he served as a Deacon and was active in various church responsibilities. Mr. Barnett was retired from Westinghouse at the Savannah River Site, a former member of the Aiken County Board of Education Advisory Board and a former girls softball coach. He was the son of the late Mr. A.J. Barnett. Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Mrs. Carolyn McLain Barnett; two daughters and a son- in-law, Chenay and Keir Weyble, Nerissa Barnett all of Columbia, SC; his mother, Ruby Barnett, Jackson; two brothers, Ronald Barnett, Jackson and Gerald Barnett, Columbia, SC; a sister, Carol Ann Pate, Jackson; two grandchildren, Brady Weyble and Mary Isabel Weyble. The family will receive friends at the church this Wednesday evening from 6 until 8. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of First Baptist Church of Jackson. AUGUSTA, Ga. - MSG Cecil E. McCollum, Sr, US Army Retired, 77, husband of 54 years to Margie James McCollum, of Westbrook Rd, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, September 23, 2009, at Eisenhower Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 26 2009, at 12:00 Noon., from the First Baptist Church of Waynesboro, with Dr. Al Wright, and Tom Bugg officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park with full Military Honors. Mr. McCollum will lie in state at the Church from 11:00 AM until the hour of the service. He loved the Lord and served the Lord. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Waynesboro. He was also a member of the Spares and Pairs Sunday School Class. Mr. McCollum was a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Army, including tours in the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He was a member of the Richmond Masonic Lodge #412, Hephzibah, the American Legion Post #120, Waynesboro, the DAV Post Pendleton King #10, and the Richmond Chapter #483 order of the Eastern Star, Hephzibah. WARRENTON, Ga. - Mrs. Reba Sturdivant Brewer, age 80, beloved wife of Mr. Roy L. Brewer of Mayfield Road, died Monday evening April 7, 2008 at the McDuffie Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Warrenton with Dr. Ray Hope and Rev. Wayne Ghann officiating. Burial will follow in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Brewer, a native of Taliaferro County, Ga., was the daughter of the late Clyde and Elizabeth Sherrer Sturdivant. She was a retired Line Supervisor with Garland Knitting Mills and a homemaker. Mrs. Brewer was a member of the First Baptist Church of Warrenton and the Laura Lee Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Mr. Roy L. Brewer; daughter-in-law, Carolyn W. Brewer of Thomson, GA.; son-in-law, T.
