Aquatics Center to open

The new $4.9 million aquatic center, a huge brick building on Damascus Road splashed with brilliant blue and Lego-block yellow trim, promises to be more than just a major venue for the upcoming 1999 Georgia Games. It is hoped by many that it will become the new heart of an area previously known for its high crime.
