Willie Clyde Coleman (LAKE CITY, Ga.)

LAKE CITY, Ga. - Entered into rest Tuesday, December 5, 2006, Mr. Willie Clyde Coleman, 83, husband of the late Lois Hall Coleman. Mr. Coleman was a native of Swainsboro, Ga. and had lived in Augusta from 1941 to 1999 before moving to Lake City. He was Vice President for Farmers National and Coastal States Life Insurance Co. and was in the insurance business for 42 years. He was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and attended Forest Park United Methodist Church in Forest Park, Ga. Family members include his son and daughter-in-law, Clyde Edward and Ellen Coleman of Lake City, Ga.; grandsons and granddaughter-in-law, Steven Forrest and Alyson Coleman of Stockbridge, Ga., Matthew Thomas Coleman of Lake City; great-grandchildren, Madison Marie Coleman and Connor Steven Coleman of Stockbridge, Ga.; sisters, Pauline Silas of Gloverville, S.C., Betty Freeman of Langley, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Friday, December 8, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. in Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Robert L. Taylor and Rev. Linda Birchall officiating. Memorials may be made to St. James United Methodist Church, 439 Greene St., Augusta, Ga. 30901 or Forest Park United Methodist Church, 4473 College St., Forest Park, Ga. 30297.
