BARNWELL, S.C. - Carolyn Driggers Allen, 72, died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital, Augusta. Mrs. Allen, a daughter of the late Winston and Elizabeth T. Driggers, was born in Lake City, S.C. She was a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church. A homegoing service will be held at Mount Olivet Baptist Church, Highway 300, Barnwell, on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. George Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening at the Mole Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Olivet Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1364, Barnwell, S.C. Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Charles Parker (C.P.)
