Nostalgia often fuels car movies

My dad was a car guy. For most of my childhood, he tooled around town in a series of exotic, if not always reliable, cars that were often more interesting than practical. There was a '66 Lincoln convertible with a top like a sieve, a '64 Corvair that would allow only two stops on hots days before a mysterious ailment called vapor lock shut it down for an hour or two.
