Record numbers of students, minorities enter medical school

The number of Hispanics enrolled in medical school in 2012 nationally increased 6 percent over last year, with the number of blacks increasing 3 percent and the number of Asians increasing 5 percent respectively, according to analysis of the enrollment data by the Augusta Chronicle. At MCG, with relatively small numbers of Hispanic and black students, the number shifts were more dramatic.
