Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2002, at 1 p.m. at First Mount Moriah Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Garden. Mr. Grant was a native of Lincolnton, a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, and a member of First Mount Moriah Baptist Church. He retired from civil service at Fort Gordon as a utility systems operator and was a member of Turpin Hill Neighborhood Association.
