Custodian fired after hitting boss A Richmond County school custodian who struck her principal has been fired, Superintendent Charles Larke said Tuesday. Juanita Herrington, 52, of the 1800 block of Fairview Avenue was terminated Monday from her job as a custodian at Hornsby Elementary School after her arrest Friday on a simple battery charge. She is accused of hitting Principal Thelma Williams after an argument about trash in the school hallways.
