At the Movies: 'The Prince & Me'

"The Prince & Me," in which Julia Stiles plays an American who falls in love with the prince of Denmark, is just begging for "Hamlet" puns - something about spreading compost on the weeds to make them ranker, perhaps, or how fluffy romantic comedies like this come not in single spies but in battalions.

`10 Things I Hate About You' is worthy diversion

I felt that the movie 10 Things I Hate About You was clearly geared to a female audience, but, unlike some "chick flicks," this movie was more comedy than drama. Overall the movie was OK; some parts moved slowly while a few scenes saved the movie. The plot, originated by Shakespeare (The Taming of the Shrew), has been over-used but was still funny. Although it didn't leave me with the feeling my life had been enhanced, I didn't feel that I had wasted my money or my time. -- Ben Proefrock, 16, Augusta Preparatory Day School sophomore
